PACKAGING | Available in IBCs of 1000 L, in iso-tank containers of up to 25 tons. Packaging in containers of 30 L upon special inquiry.
STORAGE | Storage of the solution must be in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place and in tanks resistant to corrosion, plastic containers PVC,PE,PP,PVDF or from polyesters. Particular attention should be paid to the handling and storage of the material in summer because the high temperature reduces the free chlorine content, thus reducing it’s effectiveness.
REGULATIONS | According to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH), Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP/GHS) and Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 of the European Parliament and of the council of 22 May 2012 concerning the making available on the market and use of biocidal products. Our company has the authorization for trade and import of sodium hypochlorite by the National Organization for Medicines (ΕΟΦ).

Sodium hypochlorite solution has a slightly yellowish color and it is mainly used for disinfection (destruction of pathogenic microorganisms) of drinking water and wastewater to prevent the transmission of diseases. When exposed to ambient temperature quickly reduces the content of free chlorine, thus reducing it’s effectiveness. Sodium hypochlorite its also used as a pH adjuster in sewage, industrial or drinking water or in swimming pools as well as for the prechlorination in drinking water treatment, hydrogen sulfide control and odor control. Additional sodium hypochlorite solution is used as a bleaching agent in textile and other industries.
