STORAGE | Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed, and away from heat, ignition sources and incompatible materials.
REGULATIONS | According to Regulations (EC) No 1907/2006 (REACH), (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP/GHS),  (EU) No 528/2012. Some of the carbons are manufactured in accordance with UNI EN ISO 12903 for materials used for the treatment of water and food products intended for human consumption.

Τhere are several types of coal-based, coconut based or wood based carbons in powder, pellet or granular forms. Depending on the individual parameters each activated carbon is suitable for a specific use like

– removing taste and odor compounds, dissolved organic compounds in potable water treatment,

– decolorization and purification of civil, industrial and drinking water,

– removal of sulfur compounds, such as hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans and acid compounds from gases,

-application in micro-filters, thin layers, cigarette filters, cabin air filters and acoustic enhancement of loudspeakers.

Many of the carbons are produced by high temperature steam activation and can be regenerated after use.
